REASONS WHY YOU ARE NOT SEEING PROGRESS
1. You just started.
If you just started working out and tracking macros you must give yourself time. Think of your progress like growing a garden from seed. You must give the root system a chance to establish itself before you see a sprout on the surface. The progress is happening just by you being committed.
2. You aren't being honest with yourself.
Are you really being consistent. Ouch... Harsh? But it's true. If you are only getting exercise in 1-3 days per week, and you aren't consistent with nutrition, you won't see progress. The secret sauce to making progress is being consistent over a long period of time.
3. You are tracking the wrong type of progress.
If you are only focusing on your progress on the scale you will be frustrated. Start to focus on you athletic improvement. Can you hold a plank longer? Are you getting stronger? Feeling more energized? Are you clothes fitting better? You can lose inches without the scale moving at all.
4. You want to look like her.
Self love is the most important unspoken rule of making progress. Giving yourself grace as you change life long habits. Stop trying to look like someone else. You fitness journey should never be started with the intention of looking like someone else. Strive to be the best version of yourself.
