I have a secret to let you in on.
Motivation is overrated. Motivation is a huge buzzword in the fitness industry.
So many people ask me: How do you get motivated? How do you stay motivated?
REAL TALK---I am not motivated all the time.
Consistency has been the most important aspect of my journey. I often don't "feel like it". I am not motivated every time I workout. It is so easy to get caught up talking yourself out of a workout. I try to shut off the part of my brain that says "I don't feel like it". The less time I spend in between the better. Picture how you will feel after your workout. Mentally put yourself on the other side of your workout. You won't always feel like it, but you can always show up for yourself. Being consistent is the most important part of achieving progress. If you only workout on the days you are motivated then progress will be difficult to come by.
when you don't feel like it...
Commit To The First 5 Minutes
When you don't feel like it, ( we have all been there). Try committing to just 5 minutes. Put on your workout gear and get moving for a minimum of 5 minutes. Chances are once you have the ball rolling you will end up doing a little more.
Outfit On Fleek
Gear up in your best workout gear. Having a cute workout outfit can be so motivating to get your workout done.
DJ Turn It Up

Take A Picture
Progress pictures are my favorite way to have clients track their progress. Take a picture that you can refer back to at a later date.
