Protein UP by FLatout

Flatout Bread hosted an awesome breakfast for the Fitfluential Ambassadors. We got to try Flatouts new product hitting stores later this month. Flatout Bread has created an incredible flat bread that contains a whopping 10-12 grams of protein with only 8g to 10g net carbs per serving. What is the best way to to lose weight, feel satisfied, and avoid falling off track? PROTEIN! Protein will keep your belly full. Research shows that including a source of protein combined with a high-fiber grain can help you feel full longer and eat less throughout the day. These flatbreads are not like traditional wraps or tortillas. They are soft and pliable and have the texture/mouthfeel of bread. They bend, wrap, and fold without splitting. The best part, the protein source is from BEANS! One-half cup of beans contains as much protein as an ounce of broiled steak. Plus, beans are loaded with fiber to keep you feeling full for hours. They will be coming in three flavors: Core 12: Flatout's original wrap recipe, made with chickpeas Red Pepper Hummus: powered by chickpeas Sea salt & crushed black pepper: brought to you by navy beans These wraps are just for lunch, they make awesome an awesome breakfast.
  • Scramble some eggs with scallions and a crumble of goat cheese and wrap it up in the Sea Salt & Crushed pepper wrap for a high protein fiber packed breakfast.
  • Spread the inside of a Core 12 with the nut butter of your choice, sliced banana and strawberries for someone who prefers a sweet dish for breakfast.
  • Use any of the flavors to make a breakfast pizza! Toast the flat bread for 1-2 min in the toasted over plain, then add pesto, chopped tomatoes, cooked bacon and 1 egg. Put it back in the over until the egg cooks through about 4 min.
pizzaup Protein Up will be hitting major grocery chains early next month. These are definitely going to be on my grocery essentials list. They are great for quick breakfasts, satisfying lunches and easy dinners. You can find Flatout bread at most Ralph's grocery stores and ProteinUp later next month. Want a coupon? Get it here.
